One thing about those shows, Rock of Love and all--the girls on that show, well they make me really appreciate how intelligent and well adjusted my daughter is. I mean seriously, when you have kids you'll be thinking to yourself, "If my kid doesn't turn out like those girls then I did a good job as a parent."

Yeah, I know what you mean by that, we got some money too, then Nicole's brakes went out and Randy replaced them then her radiator went out and some emt switch thingy or something then he had to replace her tires, and thought we were finished, then I had to slam on the brakes at full speed on the way home from San Angelo because there were 3 horses standing in the middle of the road in the middle of the night, and I destroyed our tires so we had to replace the tires on that car too. AUGHAUGH! But, I'm so happy I didn't hit any of the horses--wouldn't want to do that! Slammed on the brakes and swerved around them. And about tv--well, the only way I've seen those shows are the clips they show during The Soup with Joel McHale. But I am guilty of watching a couple of soap operas, One Life to Live and General Hospital, so we all have our brain rotting tv addictions. I'm totally addicted to the show Lost though--to the point of counting down the days until it returns. It was a great show tonight too!

Considering the past couple of years we went to concerts, well at least once a month 2 years ago and last year several times, and this year nothing planned as of yet. Need to work off paying off my credit card debt though, hopefully by the time the tours start again I'll be in better shape. I know TBS will be touring again after releasing their album this spring, and I'm excited about that. I'll go to Warped with my daughter, even though I'm not super excited about any of the bands I like a couple o.k., and she really likes Silverstein and wants to see them again. She started her college classes today. I'm happy and sad at the same time, if you know what I mean. She'll be back this weekend though, so that's cool. And LOL about the cereal being strawberry, but not really strawberry. I haven't had any of that in years so I don't remember, but I know I used to eat it. I've been craving Fruity Pebbles a lot lately, and had some this morning. Not quite Frankenberry, but its still good. I do have to question Gerard's taste in tv shows though--Rock of Love Bus? That stuff will turn your brain to mush much much worse than drugs ever could!

Thanks for your comment. You are so right--I did have a blast and it was sooooo worth the trip! Getting to meet all the band in Lubbock was awesome, and while in Tulsa we didn't get to talk to everyone afterwards, even though we did get to talk to Matt Fazzi who is awesome, the people we met while we were there were awesome! No more concerts coming up for quite some time. Have you been reading Gerard's blog on their website? They are great! I love the one where he goes on and on about Frankenberry cereal! Made me crave some. I wonder if they still sell it at stores.
